Location and Information
The Veterans Hall is located on the third floor of the courthouse in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Gainesboro is located in central Tennessee midway between Knoxville and Nashville. The city of Cookeville is located nearby. General Aviation aircraft are welcome to fly into 1A7 Jackson County Airport.

Individuals or groups are invited to visit. The largest group to date is 300 people. Please give Glenn Jones, Director, a call at 931-268-2293 to let him know you would like to visit. Large groups require a bit of coordination because of the limited space.

Family members and veterans have their photographs and induction history hung on the walls of Veterans Hall. They are also featured in the weekly newspaper, The Jackson County Sentinel with veterans and/or family members proudly posing with the photographs to be displayed in the Hall.

It is very simple to put a picture in the Veteran’s Hall, just submit (2) 8X10 pictures of the same picture along with a write-up of their military background, to Richard Ballard at Universal Art and Frame Shop at 1991 Gainesboro Grade, Cookeville, Tn. 38501 or call Glenn Jones at 268-2293.
